Group Project
ReflectionMy group chose to focus our project on the issue of pollution and littering. We felt it was a pretty straightforward issue to teach and build a lesson plan around. We thought it would be really fun for students to create an animal of their choice out of recycled materials. It would teach them that things can be reused and that you don't need to buy expensive art supplies to make art!
My role in this group project was that of Presentation Organizer. I had to make a PowerPoint presentation that would pull together all aspects of the group project. I found this really creative template from SlidesGo.com with environmental-related images, icons, and infographics. Unfortunately the original fonts used would completely change the format of the slides after I saved and sent them to my group so I had to go through and change all those fonts. |

Thought-Provoking Videos Under 2 Minutes
These are two short videos I provided for my group's PowerPoint presentation. One was to express how much damage plastic pollution has caused. And the other video I included was chosen to inspire students to think about the ways in which recycled materials could be used for creating works of art. I believe that both videos are thought-provoking for different reasons.
