How-To Video
Project ProposalFor this project, I thought it might be fun to teach how to make a simple woven checkered pattern out of paper! It's something I've always enjoyed doing since I was a child.
It can be incorporated into various craft projects for kids to add a little bit of fun! Like holiday cards, Valentine's hearts, cute clothing pattern for paper dolls, sketchbook or notebook covers, etc. |

The beautiful acoustic song I used in the video is called Sunny by Benjamin Tissot. It's royalty free and can be found here through Bensound.com.

Wow. My reflection for this project will probably end up turning into a rant so I might as well just start it off as one!
I decided to use Adobe Premiere Rush because it is a program I have used for video projects in the past. For some reason, this time around was an absolute nightmare. Anything and everything that could go wrong...went wrong. The program decided to run extremely laggy despite just being updated and on a fast gaming laptop. It decided to not save my files in a folder I selected. I had to put together this video over six times and something happened to it each time! The images suddenly stopped showing up when I would play back the video. There was endless lagging and errors to navigate. Near the end of the editing fiasco, my mic decided to make me sound like I'm speaking through a tin can. I was originally wanting to narrate the entire video but decided to only speak at the beginning of the video in order to spare peoples' ears. Finally when I decided to claim defeat, it refused to export my video! My brother helped me figure out how to get it exported and then YouTube tells me it's unable to upload. |
